iPhone art

Wonderful creative work by iPhone artists on the iPhone Art website. Much easier than trying to find something cute in the mammoth aps store.

Brisbaning the iPhone

Well this week I'm starting to research iPhone plans in Australia. And next week I'm buying a 3GS, having debated waiting until June/July/August when the 4G arrives here.

I"ll be blogging about the purchase, use and issues arising from iPhone ownership; my interest is that I have a friend who owns iPhone Repairs Brisbane, a business which actually operates in most Australian cities though the repair facility is located in Perth. People ship their broken iPhones to the workshop and it can be overnighted back to them. It's because screens and digitizers are commonly damaged on iPhones and it's cost efficient to replace them - whereas a failed motherboard might mean you're better off with a new phone.

Also, I'm working with my friend on a business selling iPhone accessories; will be talking about the latest gear in that area and how that project progresses. Hey, if they all had decent cases they wouldn't break the displays so often!

We'll be travelling to Melbourne and Sydney presenting that range to iPhone buyers.

Don't you think Brisbaning should be a word? Just not sure what it should mean. By all means suggest something in the comments. Interested to hear your experiences of repairs and accessories in particular.
